    Graduation Mass

“The desire for God is written in the human heart, because man is created by God and for God.” This desire for God and the invitation to faith is present to all students of every creed and culture. The purpose of the School Ministry Office is to assist in fostering and nourishing this desire in each student so to help them develop and maintain a personal relationship with God with the guidance of the Roman Catholic Faith. This will take place through the sacraments, opportunities for personal and communal prayer, retreats, spiritual programs and activities throughout the school year. Students will also have the opportunity to integrate their faith life into action by getting involved in campus ministry and a variety of service projects. By nourishing their life of faith, each student will be able to live out the call to be taken over by the light of Christ and to spread that light wherever they go.

Student Retreats

  • Freshmen Retreat:

The freshman retreat is unique in that we break the freshmen class down by theology class so that there is a total of eight retreats. The smaller size allows for a reflective and prayerful environment. The retreats are held in our annex and our new Howard Art Center where the guys listen to talks by our seminarians and campus minister, enjoy activities and ice-breakers, and have ample time for silence and prayer including the celebration of the Holy Mass and Eucharistic Adoration.

    Sophomore Retreat:

The the format for the sophomore retreat changes from year-to-year.  Last year, the sophomore class attended Metanoia which was a day long retreat hosted by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.  This year's retreat will be held in April.

    Junior Retreat:

While encouraging vocations to the priesthood is a school-wide endeavor, the theme for the junior year retreat is specifically centered on the Priesthood. The retreat involves a trip to the seminary where seminarians lead the day with talks, activities and prayer. Mass and adoration are also part of the retreat.

    Senior Retreat

Seniors are encouraged to attend the Kairos retreat, which is a 4 day long retreat and a great chance to grow in relationship with God, their classmates and to grow as an individual.  Kairos is held at the Malvern retreat house.
