Philadelphia, PA– Roman Catholic High School welcomes President John A. Prendergast '08 with Holy Mass and grand installation ceremony.

Roman is pleased to announce the official installation of John A. Prendergast '08 as the 15th Head of School and 6th President. President Prendergast is the school’s first lay head of school in Roman Catholic High School’s 134th year of existence.

The historic ceremony will take place on January 31, 2024, at the Cathedral Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul, located at 18th Street and The Benjamin Franklin Parkway, with mass celebrated by Archbishop Nelson Perez beginning at 11:00 am and an installation ceremony to follow.

Following the installation, there will be a reception at Roman Catholic High School providing an opportunity for attendees to congratulate President Prendergast and share their excitement for the future of Roman Catholic High School under his leadership.
