We are proud to celebrate Mr. Daniel P. Joyce, Roman Catholic’s Vice President of Mission Advancement, for being named the 2025 Outstanding Fundraising Professional of the Year by the AFP Greater Philadelphia Chapter! 

Since his start at Broad and Vine, Dan has been the driving force behind Roman’s Advancement efforts, leading with humility, vision, and a true sense of mission. His work has not only elevated Roman’s fundraising program to new heights but has also created life-changing opportunities for countless young men to receive the gift of a Catholic education. Those who know Dan admire his kindness, integrity, and unwavering commitment to the community he serves.

"On behalf of the entire Roman Catholic High School community, I am proud to congratulate Dan Joyce on being named the 2025 Outstanding Fundraising Professional of the Year by the AFP Greater Philadelphia Chapter," Roman President John A. Prendergast '08 said. "This well-deserved honor is a testament not only to Dan’s extraordinary skill and professionalism, but also to the deep sense of mission that permeates everything he does.

Dan is, in every sense, a quintessential gentleman – humble, kind, loyal, positive, and generous. There is nothing phony or pretentious about him. He is as genuine as they come, and yet he is also a tenacious and confident fundraiser. Dan brings an unmatched combination of strategic vision and an authentic desire to build deeper relationships with everyone he meets. His work has transformed our Advancement program, but more importantly, it has transformed lives – opening doors of opportunity for hundreds of young men who might not otherwise have access to a rigorous, Catholic education at Roman. We are grateful for Dan’s leadership and inspired by his example. Personally, I am beyond proud to call him my colleague and friend.
